Common Applications Of Aluminium Tubular Fence Panels
Aluminium tubular fencing panels are used extensively as pool fences in Adelaide back yards, typically with a loop pattern at the top because they are difficult to climb up and over, making them ideal for denying youngsters to a pool or outdoor spa area. Community centres and schools often use aluminium tubular fencing to provide security and divide areas off because the fence panels are attractive, strong, low maintenance and cost effective.
Matching gates with child locks can be added, either manually opening or automated which is often done if the aluminium gate is used to allow vehicles in the driveway of a front garden providing secure off-street parking.
Range of Aluminium Tubular Fence Patterns
There are two ranges of aluminium fences available; a ‘welded’ range, with the upright bars welded to the horizontal bars on one side and a ‘drilled’ series, with the upright bars passing through the horizontal bars; which looks the same from both sides of the fence.
Welded Series Patterns
Note: These are the most popular welded series patterns; all tubular fence patterns can be customised to suit.
Drilled Series Patterns
Note: These are the most popular drilled series patterns; all tubular fence patterns can be customised to suit.
Aluminium Tubular Fencing Panel Installation
The fencing panels are often anchored into a concrete footing, laid specifically for the fence or to the top of an existing masonry retaining wall with brackets and Dynabolts®. Aluminium tubular fence panels are best installed in fresh concrete which better ensures a level surface, but if an existing masonry wall is already there, you may be able to use it as the base.
Installing aluminium tubular fence panels yourself is not as easy as it looks. If you have experience excavating trenches, handling form work and concrete, setting posts to a uniform height and distance; in a very straight line, you may want to try it yourself, but for the best result, licensed fencing contractors or licensed fence installers should be contacted to do it for you.
Maintenance Of Aluminium Fences
Aluminium fencing panels are very low maintenance; almost maintenance free for around 30 years if installed correctly. You may have to tighten some of the bolts that anchor the fencing panels to the concrete base or the screws that hold the panels to each of the upright posts. It is also a good idea to keep the base of your fence away from soil build up and have good drainage.
